Andrew J. Wagner, MD, PhD
Andrew Wagner, MD, PhD, is the Deputy Chief Medical Officer and the Medical Director of Adult Ambulatory Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he has been a medical oncologist for over 20 years. Dr. Wagner is also a Senior Physician in the Department of Medical Oncology, a translational researcher in the Sarcoma Center, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wagner focuses on the treatment of patients with sarcoma and conducts translational research and clinical studies to identify new targets and treatments for these diseases. He earned his MD and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
