Jeremiah Wala, MD, PhD

Dr. Jeremiah Wala is a Medical Oncologist at the Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and completed his fellowship in Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Wala is a physician-scientist with a focus on: (1) spatial profiling of the tumor-immune microenvironment to understand mechanisms of treatment response and resistance, and (2) understanding how tumor genomic alterations influence anti-tumor immune responses. His work aims to uncover the significance of the immune response in GU tumors and to identify genomic-immune signatures to guide personalized cancer therapy.
