Biography
Jordan Chinai, MD, PhD
Jordan Chinai, MD, PhD, is a medical oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute specializing in gastrointestinal cancers. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Trinity University, followed by his MD and PhD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where his research focused on developing new approaches to cancer immunotherapy. Dr. Chinai completed his residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and his fellowship in medical oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
At the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Dr. Chinai leads research projects that develop new scientific technologies to identify new immunotherapy targets. His work aims to overcome resistance pathways that limit the effectiveness of immunotherapy in gastrointestinal cancers, including pancreatic cancer. In his clinical practice, Dr. Chinai is dedicated to providing compassionate care while advancing treatment options for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies.
